Jon Salfield is an international fencer and Coach.  Trained by top fight director and GB international Richard Bonehill for 13 years, he is now a part-time professional coach and trains and coaches at Truro Fencing Club.  Jon has represented Great Britain at World Cup events throughout the Globe, as well as at the European Championships.  His most recent achievements include:

2005  British World Cup Sabre Team for Athens, Madrid, Venezuela, Budapest, Warsaw; L64 at Venezuela Grand Prix; finalist at Cole Cup World Cup Satellite; medallist at the Birmingham International and the British Championships
2004  British World Cup Sabre Team for Athens, Madrid, Bonn, Nancy, New York;  L32 at London World Cup; L64 at European Championships; Silver medallist at Amsterdam World Cup Satellite; Finalist at Bristol Open, Welsh Open, Cole Cup World Cup Satellite & Birmingham International.

Jon has appeared as a fighting double for the hero in 'The Secret of the Cave ' (Nant Films for S4C) and assisted in fight choreography for productions of the Man in the Iron Mask and Much Ado About Nothing in Sheffield, UK.
