Critiques
Critiques offer you comprehensive feedback and guidance on your poems together with suggestions for further reading. They can take a number of forms: face-to-face, where we meet up to discuss your work; by post; or by email.
Please note: for face-to-face critiques, if the distance travelled is over 10 miles, a mileage charge is applicable.
Mentoring
If you'd like to explore the approaches taken in your work, discuss your strengths and problem areas, and receive advice and guidance on how to develop further, then you might like to consider mentoring. Please contact me to discuss your requirements.
One-to-One Tuition
This covers a variety of topics, including:
sessions (one-off or a series) on the history of poetry; poetic styles and genres; particular poets
the nuts and bolts of poetry - metre, rhyme, repetition, metaphor and simile, verse and stanza forms
how to prepare for a reading - choosing and presenting your poems
